3 Choices 1 Story - Creative Writing Competition

Spark ideas with your pencil - creative writing competition for children aged 7-14 starting 26 January Is your child a budding writer? We are kicking off celebrations of National Storytelling Week by launching a brand new competition for children to celebrate their creative writing starting 26 January.

To take part children need to write a story of just 500 words and include either a monster, scientist or artist as the main character. Download the application form or collect a copy from one of our four main libraries: The Curve, Britwell, Cippenham or Langley.

You can enter in two age categories: 7-9 and 10-13 and entries must be returned by 26 February. Please note children MUST have consent of a parent or guardian to enter.

Plus look out for some awesome creative writing sessions for 7-9s and 10-13s at your local library to help you improve your skills.
